On your feet all day

Slip them on and go

No laces, nothing to tie. A knit upper, and a thick sole between you and the floor, cushioned for hard floors. Made for standing all shift, not for a run.

Why it works

Again Slip-On, part by part

  1. Too tired to bend down.

End of the shift, you crawl into bed. Start of the next, you're bent over tying laces. The Slip-On has no laces. It slips on and goes.

  2. Thin soles, feel every stone.

A thin sole puts you right on the concrete, every step, all day. The Slip-On puts a thick sole between you and the floor, cushioned for hard floors.

  3. Again Slip-On: the knit upper, close up

    "Hard plastic. No give."

You've worn that one. The Slip-On's upper is knit, not hard plastic.

  4. Again Slip-On: worn standing at a shop counter

    Made for standing, not running.

Running shoes are built to go forward. Your day is standing, turning and lifting. The Slip-On is made for standing all shift, not for a run.

Want more room across the toes? Again Shift and Again Clog have a wide toe box.

A pair for the life I have

That everyday use was the reason I chose them. A family visit can be a full day, even when we haven't planned anything big. The thicker sole is why I looked at the Slip-On. I wanted a different shape from the thin everyday shoes already in my closet.

A choice I made for myself

The Slip-On fits differently from an adjustable lace-up, so I checked it carefully. I like the simplicity, but the fit still has to be right. I still like choosing my own things. Shoes included. I felt better having a specific reason for the choice. I checked the fit and chose the straightforward option I wanted.

Keeping my own pace

I made the choice around my own habits. My usual walk is part of my day. I like having a routine that gets me moving. I liked the Slip-On's straightforward shape. I didn't need another pair covered in details I don't use.

Practical can still feel like me

I chose a look that felt like me. Wanting a practical shoe doesn't mean I've stopped caring what I put on. I was drawn to the Slip-On sole because I spend plenty of time on hard floors. I wanted to look below the top of the shoe this time.

I took my time with the fit

With the Slip-On, there are no loose lace ends for me to fuss over. I appreciate that on a busy day. The pair I like at breakfast isn't always the pair I want on by dinner. I took my time deciding whether the fit worked for me. I checked the fit and chose the straightforward option I wanted.

Fit came before the color

I wouldn't choose by length alone again. I used to blame my feet whenever a shoe felt wrong. Now I pay closer attention to the shape. The Slip-On knit looks casual to me. That made it easier to picture actually wearing them instead of leaving them in the closet.

Practical mattered more than hype

For me, value is having a clear reason to reach for a pair. I don't mind paying for shoes I wear. It's the ones that sit there that bother me. There's not much to explain about why I chose the Slip-On. I liked the shape and didn't want laces.

Bought with a clear idea in mind

The Slip-On is the pair I picked for ordinary use outside my work requirements. I wanted something simple to change into. A shoe can feel nice for thirty seconds and still not be the one I reach for. I've learned to choose around my own preferences. I checked the fit and chose the straightforward option I wanted.
