On your feet all day

A lot of shoe between you and the floor

A chunky, wave-shaped sole, heel to toe, with deep tread underneath, and a knit, lace-up upper. A supportive shoe made for walking, and for standing all shift.

Why it works

Again Walk, part by part

  1. Again Walk: a pair by the bed in the morning

The first steps are the worst.

You know them. Stepping on glass. Leaning on the wall. No shoe is on your feet for those. The Heel & Arch Reset is. Then a supportive sole takes every step after.

  2. Floppy shoes give you nothing.

"Floppy, and super unsupportive." Then $50 insoles on top. The Walk is built on a chunky, wave-shaped sole, heel to toe, so there's support under every step.

  3. Thin soles. You feel every stone.

A thin sole, and hard ground comes straight up through it. The Walk's sole is chunky, with a lot of shoe between your foot and the pavement, and deep tread underneath.

  4. Again Walk: worn walking down a hallway

Not a race. A whole day.

Running shoes are built to go fast. You need to get through a whole day on your feet. The Walk is a supportive shoe made for walking, and for standing all shift.

  5. Again Walk: the outsole tread held up to the camera

    You've heard every promise.

Insoles. Custom orthotics. You're hundreds of dollars lighter and the mornings haven't changed. We won't promise a cure. We'll show you the sole. And you get 30 days to send them back.

Want more room across the toes? Again Shift and Again Clog have a wide toe box.

A pair for the life I have

That everyday use was the reason I chose them. A family visit can be a full day, even when we haven't planned anything big. The chunky sole is what put Walk on my shortlist. I wanted to try a different shape from the shoes I already had.

A choice I made for myself

The supportive shape of Walk gave me something specific to compare. I wanted more information than a page saying comfortable over and over. I still like choosing my own things. Shoes included. I felt better having a specific reason for the choice. I chose for ordinary days, and kept my expectations there.

Keeping my own pace

I made the choice around my own habits. My usual walk is part of my day. I like having a routine that gets me moving. Walk looked like a straightforward lace-up shoe I would use. That was a bigger draw than a complicated sales pitch.

Practical can still feel like me

I chose a look that felt like me. Wanting a practical shoe doesn't mean I've stopped caring what I put on. The sole on Walk was the practical detail I cared about. I spend enough time on hard surfaces to think about what's under my feet.

I took my time with the fit

I could picture Walk with my ordinary clothes. I didn't want shoes that only made sense with workout clothes. The pair I like at breakfast isn't always the pair I want on by dinner. I took my time deciding whether the fit worked for me. I chose for ordinary days, and kept my expectations there.

Fit came before the color

I wouldn't choose by length alone again. I used to blame my feet whenever a shoe felt wrong. Now I pay closer attention to the shape. I looked underneath my Walk pair as soon as I took them out. The deep tread is an actual detail I can see and feel.

Practical mattered more than hype

For me, value is having a clear reason to reach for a pair. I don't mind paying for shoes I wear. It's the ones that sit there that bother me. With Walk, I can set the laces the way I like them. I prefer having that adjustment.

Bought with a clear idea in mind

Walk has a lot more sole than my old casual flats. That was part of why I chose it. A shoe can feel nice for thirty seconds and still not be the one I reach for. I've learned to choose around my own preferences. I chose for ordinary days, and kept my expectations there.
